About Us

Old Masters New Generation is a team of three MBA graduates with a specialization in old masters. They are focused on encouraging a new interest in old masters, inspiring generations to come.

Juliette Lloyd Cocks

Originally training as a lawyer, she then moved into banking and management consulting before changing direction. She now works as a trade and Innovation advisor in London supporting companies in the consumer retail sector including the art market.

She also works part-time as a teacher in art market practices at IESA in Paris where she studied for her MBA.

She has always been interested in Old Masters and has completed a number of courses in fine arts as well as worked part time over the years for art dealers, gallerists and auction houses.

She collects old master drawings and her particular interest is in the Italian Renaissance.

Claire Laycock

Claire is an art market professional with a background in art history and experience across museums, galleries, digital marketplaces, and art advisory. She holds an MBA in Art Collecting Management from L’Institut d'études supérieures des arts in Paris, where her research examined the evolving socio-economic profile of billionaire art collectors. She currently works at a Canadian auction house, specializing in appraisals, consignments, and client advisory, advising collectors and estates on the sale and valuation of works of art.

Yugy Shon

South Korean based in Paris, Yugy has a passion for examining the relationships among key players in the Old Masters art market, as well as developing her own knowledge of Old Master painting and drawings to collecting herself.

She currently works at a Parisian auction house, where she coordinates post-sale administration and studies the relationship between the art market and collector tendencies.
